DESCRIPTION:
Sextants- 2 (Two) Henry Hughes & Son Ltd., London, boxed sextants: 3.5 inch, pierced metal frames, one index arm with the Air Ministry "AM" logo, arcs with inset silvered scales with graduations, micrometer drum, multiple shades for horizon and index mirrors, sighting scopes, and black plastic handles, all in felt-lined bakelite boxes with inner Husun paper labels dated 1944.
CONDITION:
Overall very good condion. One sextant is missing both index and horizon mirrors and its small vial of oil. Silvered scales have darkened. Bakelite cases have scuffs. Dimensions are for bakelite box.
